Examining the data obtained by the Hubble Space Telescope, scientists discovered a planet in which 12 thousand Earths could fit.
The Hubble Space Telescope, which brings to light many things we do not know about space, has made a brand new discovery while continuing its observations in space. Examining the data of the Hubble Space Telescope, scientists observed a newly formed planet. The observed planet is even 9 times larger than Jupiter, the largest planet in the Solar System, with 1,320 Earths in it. So this planet can fit 12 thousand Earths inside!
Its size isn’t the only thing that makes this newly discovered planet special. The observed planet is experiencing one of the rare planet formation processes in the universe. The planet is formed by a violent process called ‘disk instability’. This process is actually blamed for the formation of large planets like Jupiter.
