On a south wall of the house it is a good idea to let fragrant climbing plants climb up so that you can also enjoy the scents coming through the window in the house.
The honeysuckle blooms and smells intensely after a while from December to February.
The clematis with its bitter almond scent follows from February to March.
The Rose New Dawn blooms all summer long and delights with its fruity fragrance.
The musk rose blooms last with a sweet scent and bridges the short time until the honeysuckle blossom with its rose hips.
The clematis is evergreen with attractive foliage and the honeysuckle is semi-evergreen so the wall never looks bare and unattractive.
The lower area is beautified by a lavender in white or pink, depending on your taste. Two box balls give the loose planting support and calm. The scents are floral, fruity and sweet, the colors are white and pink.

How to care for them
It is advantageous for the roses to pull them horizontally. This promotes the formation of flowers and prevents the lower area from becoming bare. In the case of a young climbing rose such as ´´Mme Alfred Carriere´´ or a rambler rose like ´´New Dawn´´ (rambler roses have a large number of very long flexible shoots), the growth of the new shoots must be interrupted so that there are more shoots at the bottom thus produce more flowers. After that, some long shoots can be tied up and always in front of the framework.
Once the rose has reached its form, with flowering stems from bottom to top, the long vegetative stems are shortened to the height of the flowers each year starting in spring. This may be necessary several times during the summer. How often and how profusely the rose blooms also depends on how regularly the withered flowers are removed.
In the case of the musk rose, you should not cut off the spent flower clusters, otherwise you will lose the lovely rose hips. It blooms into autumn. The evergreen clematis is not cut back after the initial cut, only dry leaves and the faded inflorescences are removed. Caution: It is easy to accidentally cut off too much.
At most, the honeysuckle is cut into shape, directly after flowering. The two box trees only serve their purpose at this point if they are cut exactly into balls. The lavender is allowed to grow loosely.
Such large, profusely flowering plants in a relatively small space need a lot of water and fertilizer every year in early spring.
