According to the information obtained, Russia banned Prime Minister Boris Johnson and other high-level ministers from entering Russia due to Britain’s “hostile” attitude towards the war in Ukraine.
British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, Defense Secretary Ben Wallace and 10 other top ministers, all of whom are members of the Cabinet, have been barred from entering Russia.
A press release from Moscow also announced that the decision was made in retaliation for British sanctions against him since the invasion of Ukraine.
A UK government spokesperson said: “The UK and our international partners are united in condemning the shameful actions of the Russian government in Ukraine and calling on the Kremlin to stop the war.
Last March, Moscow announced that it had imposed a similar ban on US President Joe Biden.
